40 teams are to compete in the Enemy Down League by Vita Nova featuring Call of Duty 4. There is a premier league featuring 8 teams and 4 other divisions for the remaining 32 teams. ESports Heaven has announced two One Night Wonder Cups for Call of Duty 4 teams. Each cup will feature sixteen teams and be completed in one night. Both cups are open to all European teams. The two cups, entitled One Night Wonder #6 and One Night Wonder #7, take place on March 23rd and March 25th respectively. After ESL's big winter games cup, they're back bringing us a new quick Search & Destroy 5v5 tournament. The games will be taking place over the course of 3 days. The 64 teams will compete for Premium Accounts which will be awarded to the top three finishers. Also at stake is entry into the Hall of Fame.

Steelseries has announced a Call of Duty 4 (PC) tournament open to the public which will feature a €10,000 cash prize. This will be divided between the top 8 teams.
Prize Money: 1st place: €5,000 2nd place: €2,500 3rd place: €1,250 4th place: €500 5th-8th place: €250
There will be an entrance fee of 350 Euro per team, and each team is to have 5 players. Spectators may attend the event free of charge. Ticket sales begin on March 17th.
The Steelseries eSport Challenge will be held in Copenhagen and will last 3 days starting on the 30th of April and finishing on the 2nd of May 2010. Rules will be set by Vita Nova in the next couple of days. Source: Steelseries eSport Challenge

With the Crossfire Intel Challenge 7 approaching (5-7 March 2010), ESports Heaven has announced the Western Digital Tournament for Call of Duty 4 teams in an effort to keep activity ticking over. This single elimination bracket will feature up to 128 teams vying for a prize of €250. Signups are currently open. The tournament is set to get underway on February 22nd. The signups for the Call of Duty 4 Seeding Tournament have just opened on EsportsHeaven. A group stage will kickstart proceedings with eight groups of six teams. The top two teams from each group will progress into a playoff bracket with sixteen teams competing in a single elimination bracket.Teams that do not partake in the seeding tournament but attend Crossfire 7 (5-7 March 2010) will be placed in the lowest seeded tier. The exception to this rule is Loaded as they cannot partake due to the ping and time differences. Ireland's Call of Duty 4 Search & Destroy squad got their NationsCup XIII campaign underway last night with a match against Belarus. Strike was the first map with Belarus taking a 14:9 win. The Irish team regrouped and picked up the rounds required to take the match on Citystreets with a 16:6 map score. The final score was 25:20 in favour of the Irish.

Today it has been confirmed that there will be a Call of Duty 4 tournament held at the Crossfire Intel Challenge 7 LAN (5-7 March 2010). The minimum required number of teams to book and pay has been met and as a result, the Call of Duty 4 tournament will go ahead. The date to signup has also been extended to January 24th 2010. The final reward to this objective is that a prize fund of €3,000 is up for grabs. If six more teams confirm attendance and pay by the new deadline, of January 24th, the prize fund will be increased to €4,000. Heaven Media is reaffirming its commitment to Call of Duty 4 with the most recent tournament announcement. The ROCCAT SDMS CoD4 Cup will cater for a minimum of 32 teams with a total prize fund, made up of hardware and cash, of €1,295. The tournament will begin on December 8th with the brackets released at 18:30 GMT. The schedule for the tournament can be found by clicking 'Read More'. The tournament was met with more demand than expected and as a result, signups have been closed.
